Coaching & Training
"Life coaching is a
conversation that will energize you
and provide the catalyst to achieve your
dreams!"
What is Life
Coaching?
Life Coaching is an
opportunity and a process. It's an opportunity for you to
design the life you want. It's a process that begins by
establishing a relationship with a trained coach who will
work with you to generate possibilities and create pathways
to a meaningful and purposeful life. When you work with a
life coach, YOU set the agenda for achieving what you want.
You are the expert on your life and background. The coach
is the expert on coaching. With the support and skill of
the coach, you can begin to live your life on purpose based
on your values.
How is Life
Coaching Done?
The life coaching process
is done by telephone! You do not have to leave the comfort
of your home or office. Most coaches require three sessions
a month for a minimum of three months in order to establish
the relationship and allow the process to develop. Coaching
is a conversation with a person who believes in you, holds
your vision and recognizes your brilliance to seek your own
solutions. The coach provides you with tools, exercises and
powerful questions that will allow you to achieve your
goals and live out your vision. One of the keys to coaching
is the accountability factor. The coach will hold you
accountable to do what you say and want to do, and this
makes the process positive and powerful!

What Life Coaching is NOT!
Life Coaching is NOT
therapy. Therapy is about the past, understanding what
happened before. Coaching is about the future; envisioning
the future. Therapy is like archeology - digging up the
past. Coaching is like architecture - building a tomorrow.
Types of Life
Coaching:
Individual
One-on-one conversations
with the coach.
Group
Groups of people with a
shared responsibility such as the lay leadership of the
church, a specific governing board or committee, or a group
of people who are interested on focusing on growth; either
personal, church or spiritual.
Spiritual
For
those who wish to deepen their relationship with God.
Relationship
For those who want a tune-up! Not a therapist!
For couples in long-term relationships, either personal or
professional, seeking growth, understanding, insight or new
skills in order to move the relationship forward. In some
cases, the relationship may be in transition or ending.
Do you wish you could communicate better with your partner?
Do you have difficulty asking what you need from your
partner? Would you like your relationship to be more
fulfilling? Would you like to have a life plan to follow as
you begin your marriage? Would your relationship benefit
from taking it to the next level of commitment?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then
relationship coaching might be for you. This type of
coaching is not marriage counseling, nor is it therapy. It
is a process, a conversation, that takes place between the
couple and the coach to fine tune your relationship skills
so that you can unleash all the wonderful possibilities you
saw in each other when you became a couple.
