Coaching for
the Clergy
Today many
clergy feel more like managers than disciple makers, and as
a result find themselves discouraged and disillusioned
about their ministry and its impact. Their energy levels
are low and their spiritual lives seem to be stuck rather
than dynamic and growing. Because of this many clergy are
leaving the ministry and churches are suffering from lack
of transformative leadership.
If you are feeling
frustrated,
bordering on
burn out,
hungry for
hope,
yearning for more than
yawning face or
questioning your call...
...THEN
CONSIDER COACHING as a way to bring a fresh
perspective to your vocation, to explore your skills, to
enhance your leadership style and revive your passion as a
pastor.
Coaching for clergy is a growing field that shows much
promise to help clergy fulfill the Biblical mandate to make
disciples.
Rev. Leport uses a variety of tools in her coaching
practice including the Peoplemap designed by E. Michael
Lillibridge, Ph.D. that draws on your God-given personality
strengths and corrects those “Achilles Heels” that trip us
up. She has trained with Dr. Lillibridge and uses this
process with individuals and groups who want to improve
their ability to work with others to bring about
transformation in their church or organization.
