When I entered Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinty School in 1986, I was a wife and a mother with a brand new BA in my hands from Empire State College. Needless to say, I have a history of doing things a bit out of the ordinary timeline and often out of the box. Empire State College is a college for the adult student where you study one to one with a professor/mentor. As it is set up, I was the only one in the classroom and as a result my learning was fully my responsibility and I was totally accountable at each session. There was no hiding in the back of the room hoping my classmates would cover for me if I was unprepared. The libraries were my text books and I was free to research and explore a wide range of topics and subjects. My undergraduate experience helped me discover a passion of mine ~ research, learning and presentation.

Following ordination in 1990, I entered the ministry as a second-career pastor and discovered another passion – teaching and training the person in the pew. Working with the laity so that they can achieve their God given potential provides the church with a strong lay leadership, that can promote and sustain spiritual growth.

After serving the First Baptist Church in LeRoy, N.Y. for 13 years, I felt a call away from parish work but wasn’t sure what I was being called to! Working with a life coach, I discovered a fresh perspective that combined my passion for research, learning and presentations with my passion for teaching and training lay people. By beginning a retreat/workshop ministry I could work with more lay people and churches. Because of my ongoing interest in the spiritual life, I received a Post Master's Certificate in the Practice of Spirituality from Boston College in 2004.

The positive experiences I had had with my coach peaked my interest in pursuing training as one myself. In 2007, I successfully completed the course work from The Institute for Life Coach Training to be certified as a life coach. During this time I also received my certification as an Interim Pastor from the Presbyterian Church USA. In working as an interim with churches in transition I saw the importance of coaching as a skill that I could bring to churches as well as individuals.

In looking for new ways to develop people skills and leadership development I discovered Dr. E. Michael Lillibridge, the developer of the PeopleMap™. After one class with him I was convinced this was a great tool for people in all walks of life to have in their toolbox! In 2008, I became a certified PeopleMap™ trainer under the direction of Dr. E. Michael Lillibridge. In my work as a corporate coach I have seen how valuable this assessment tool is and how quickly people have been able to apply it to their lives with GREAT results.

I love this program and what it offers to those who take it in terms of new energy and a way to enhance relationships from work to personal relationships by understanding how to communicate more effectively.

The Peoram is designed to help you learn about and understand the 4 basic personality types, their strengths and their Achilles Heels and how through the natural and learned strengths to be more successful inpleMap™ prog all areas of your life.

My passion for Research, Learning and Presentations of workshops and retreats

combined with my passion for working with people who want to find a

fresh perspective that allows them to fulfill their potential

through life coaching, has resulted in this

new venture of mine to find the

FUN and live the JOY.
